The piece follows Catalina through Granada in 1487 and out to Tangier, notes the astronomer Abraham Zacuto in the background of the story, and traces the author's own route from Toledo through Meknes and Haifa to Winnipeg. It observes that English is not his first language, records that the book has drawn orders from booksellers in England, Denmark, and Italy, and reports that a sequel was already underway.

New Publications, June 2025

The Association of Jewish Libraries of Canada listed The Chronos of Andalucia among its new publications for June 2025. The notice describes a novel that follows a young Jewish woman through fifteenth-century Iberia and North Africa, and places it as the opening of a historical fantasy series concerned with exile, identity, and the descendants of Sephardic families. The same issue welcomed the author as a new member of the association.
